Chance for NYU, Columbia, Boston College, Boston University, Johns Hopkins, UCLA

<p>I'm a junior in high school and I want to know my chances at getting in.</p>

<p>GPA: W:4.2/4 U:3.8/4 (will go up)</p>

<p>SAT/ACT: Will be taking this year. Expecting to get a 30 or 28 on ACT!
Grades: All As and Bs. Mostly As.</p>

<p>Junior Year Classes:
-Physics Honors, Algebra 2 Honors, US history Honors, AP English Lang, Journ. Honors, Creative Writing Honors, Photo 2, Photo 3, French 4 Honors.</p>

<p>Next Year's Classes:
-AP Chemistry, AP Statistics or Pre-Calc Honors, AP Macro/Micro Economics or Honors Gov't/Econ, AP English Lit or World/Brit Lit Honors, Health Occupations 1 and 2, and AP French 5.
I am a caucasion white male and live in Illinois. NYU is my dream school. I expect my GPA to go up alot more this year. I would take premed courses at NYU and then go to medschool somewhere else or just remain at NYU's med school. </p>

<p>What are my chances at getting in and what other schools do u recommend me going to on the east coast? Is this a reach school for me? Thx for the answers.</p>

you GPA is just a little above average,
and your SAT scores would matter a lot</p>

<p>All depends on the ACTs.
If you were to get a 30+, you'd be set for NYU, BC, and BU.
JHU and Columbia are reaches for just about anybody- you'd need a 32+ to have a decent chance.
Your ECs are excellent. Keep it Up.</p>
