-Member of online news publication Youth Journalism International
-Took classes on journalism at NYU this summer and got an A, with recommendations from the professor. Also took a pass/fail College Writing Workshop at NYU and passed.
-Captain of team and committee member of Relay for Life Event
-Work with AIDS organization based in NYC and getting personal recommendation from head of NYC operations.
-Founder and secretary of Model Congress Chapter in school. attended Columbia and Yale Conferences</p>
<p>I know it is a long shot to get in, especially with my grades, but I am hoping my extracurriculars show my interest in writing and journalism
