Chance me? (American Student with Canadian Citizenship)

Hi I'm an Chinese-born American student with Canadian citizenship.
My dad went to McGill and I was wondering my chances of being accepted in 2013. I am looking to major in either engineering or medical.
I heard EC's don't matter for admissions and was wondering if anyone from McGill can confirm this. As for my academic stats I have:

GPA 98.278 weighted
Top 10% 55 out of 596

SAT: 2080 (CR 690, M 740, W 650; Essay 8)
2140 (CR 690, M 790, W 690; Essay 8)

ACT: 32 (English 31, Math 32, Reading 32, Science 33; Essay 8)
34 (English 35, Math 34, Reading 33, Science 34; Essay 8)

SAT II: Physics 760, Math II, 760, World History 750

AP: World History 4, US History 4, Physics 4, Computer Science 4, English Language 4

Would you recommend submitting the SAT or ACT? Also is it possible to consider McGill a safety? As for the financial part I would pay in-state tuition since I'm a Canadian student right? Thanks.

Your stats are above the minimum cutoffs for even the most selective faculties so most likely you are in. EC’s do not matter for admission but are considered for major scholarships (separate application). Your stats would not likely get you a major scholarship.

You would pay the out of province Canadian tuition rate, not the Qu

You can consider it a safety, but as tomofboston said, unless you’re from Qu
