Chance me at top schools for a chance back?

Chance me for:
Columbia

Stanford
UPenn
Yale

Thanks in advance!

ACT (breakdown): N/A
SAT II (place score in parentheses): Bio M (780), Lit (720), ML2 (690)
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.77 (4.57/5.0 weighted)

IB (place score in parentheses): N/A
Senior Year Course Load: AP Stat, AP Environmental Science, AP Calc BC, AP English Lit & Comp, AP Chemistry, AP Spanish Lang and Culture, and a tech class for the requirement.
Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): AP Scholar with Distinction, Carson Scholarship Semifinalist, National Achievement Scholarship Semifinalist (Finalist determination pending), generic state "scholar athlete" awards, several club/school awards.

Subjective:
Extracurriculars (place leadership in parentheses): Robotics Team (Strategy Captain and Webmaster), BSU (Vice President), Track & Field (Varsity Sprinter, County Championships), School Newspaper (Arts & Entertainment Section Editor), Policy Debate (Varsity 1AC/2NC), National Technical Honor Society (Leadership Board and Co-Founder).
Job/Work Experience: Working at nearby grocery store, tutoring.
Volunteer/Community Service: Volunteering at local shelter (Head Start, Big Brothers Big Sisters, canned food drives, etc.), participant in Best Buddies High Schools program, Project Linus, field day volunteering at local elementary schools, Black History Month assemblies, peer tutoring, ecological volunteering around the area (led efforts to help pick up trash, rake leaves; that sort of thing), JHUAPL Girl Power volunteering, founded robotics team at local middle school, manual conservation work.
Summer Activities: Volunteering at local nature center, working at grocery store. Also continued a year-long research project on the monetary restrictions on the American space program in which I was mentored and assisted by the host of a podcast show and a member of the NASA Advisory Council.
Essays: Discussed topics that meant a lot to me; I thought they were good.
Teacher Recommendations: Not sure how either of them were, honestly (didn't read). Both teachers like me a lot and were more than happy to write them, so hopefully they weren't problematic at the least, and very helpful at best.
Counselor Rec: Didn't read, but I'm presuming they're about as good as they'll get. She knows me fairly well because of national/regional/state/school awards, and because of other applications for programs like MITES that have gone through her.

State (if domestic applicant): MD.
Country (if international applicant): N/A
School Type: Public, mid-sized.

Ignore JHUSoccer. Your hooks are not enough to make up for your below average GPA. JHU and UPenn are definitely not matches.

Good SAT, as many schools unconcerned with writing section. Subject tests a bit low for most, but probably only a minor setback. More important will be the mid-range GPA and the somewhat low AP class amount. EC’s look solid, but much of this depends upon your schools rating in each (for robotics, is the question “how will we do at St. Louis?” “Will we win t St. Louis?” or, “Will we go to St. Louis?” Your senior load is good, and poses a nice chance for improvement.

The verdict:
Columbia: Mid-reach
Dartmouth: Low-reach
JHU: Low-reach
Princeton: Out of Reach
Rice: High-match
Stanford: Out of Reach
Yale: Very High Reach/out of reach
Upenn: Mid-reach

Test scores are in the ranges for most of the schools so you’re good but your GPA is subpar and will most likely be a hurdle for all admissions to consider. Having said that, you have good EC’s and have a hook.

Columbia: Reach
Dartmouth: Low Reach
JHU: Low Reach
Princeton: Reach
Rice: High Match
Stanford: High Reach
UPenn: Reach
Yale: High Reach

Only Rice was a match because of your GPA, hopefully if you wrote stellar essays, you might convince one of them to accept you. I wish you the best!

Your scores and ECs are good, but your GPA may be a bit of a problem for the Ivies (not much of one though). It seems like you’ve done all you can and you’re very active at your school, so that’s gonna reflect really well on you. It all depends on your essay strength and the narrative you craft about yourself. Here’s what I think though given what you’ve said.

Columbia: Reach
Dartmouth: High Match
JHU: Match
Princeton: Reach

Chance me too if it is not a bother: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1727296-chances-for-quite-a-few-schools.html#latest

everything looks good except for your GPA…
But I think you still have decent chances at all of the schools you mentioned due to many factors. (URM, other hooks)

I think that your SAT score is solid enough, but it would help if your GPA and Math 2 scores were a bit higher. You’re EC’s are solid enough!

Are people just writing down answers randomly? Princeton and Yale are not matches for anyone, even if they had a 4.0 GPA and perfect test scores.

Columbia: Reach
Dartmouth: Low Reach - I have mostly the same SAT I/senior courses (although a little higher SAT II/GPA). You also have way more impressive EC’s and awards. (especially that research!). And I got in this year. I say reach bc luck and essays really matter.

The reason why those three are matched is because you have unique skills with robotics that set you apart. Those school typically look for that. The others typically just look for night test scores and legacies. Chance me please?

African American. Middle Class. Solid Test Scores. Like me, GPA is the only thing that could hurt your application, but it remains rather strong. Ivies are unlikely tbh, but the others are good chances. I think:

Dartmouth-Reach
JHU-Match (good chances)
Princeton-Reach
Rice- Match
Stanford- High Reach
UPenn-Reach
Columbia- Reach
Yale-Reach

Good luck!

Your test scores (especially ML2, since you want to go into STEM)/ranking will likely hurt you.
