<p>Can anyone please chance me at UCSB. I know it may be reaches, and I know I have made a lot of Chance Me threads, but i want to know where to apply. Thanks</p>

<p>I really want to go to school in Cali, and I love UCSB, but can you guys also suggest any other schools</p>

<p>I don’t know a whole lot about whether or not you’d get in but you have a high SAT score and some impressive ECs so I think you have a good chance. GPA is a bit low but I think you’ve made up for it. Some other Cali schools I’d recommend and am applying to myself are UC Davis and Cal Poly SLO. UC Santa Cruz is alright too. UC San Diego and UC Irvine get reputations of being pretty boring and highly Asian (if that is something you care about, some people do). UC Los Angeles and UC Berkeley are definitely the most competitive public schools and would definitely be reach schools. San Diego State is also a pretty cool school. Good business program and D1/sports atmosphere. Again, I’m no expert on your chances but I guess that’s the rundown on some of the popular public schools out here. I live in SoCal so I hear a lot.
