I'm a Senior and in the process of doing more clubs and possibly doing winter guard.

sorry to say, but your GPA and SAT are way too low for UGA. The average UGA student has around a 3.7GPA and 1850 SAT.

I’ve been studying for my SAT & ACT for the past month and a half and my goal is to reach above an 1800. I still believe there’s a chance for me to get in. They told me that they’ll take my senior year into consideration. Plus, I’m really trying my hardest.

Not to sound like a dick, but you’d better be studying pretty damn hard because I would chance you at 0% right now. 2.7GPA and the sat is god awful, and UGA has become increasingly harder to get into.

You’re just being honest and I assure you I am. I study 5-8 hours a night and take practice tests occasionally. This year, I think the acceptance rate this year is 54%.

I might not have a big chance of getting in like some of my other contemporaries do. But I believe that if I tried hard, I can augment my chances gradually if not a lot. :)

My other choices were Valdosta and Kennesaw State for safeties if that helps…
