In two weeks, my senior year of high school starts and I am feeling very insecure about my credentials. Do you think my chances of getting into these schools are slim? Im afraid of getting rejected from all of them and ending up at home.

I have a 3.375 unweighted GPA, 4.2 Weighted GPA, an 1780 on the SAT (590 reading/580 math/610 writing)(taking again) I've had 11 A's, 11 B's, and 2 C's, I have taken 4 AP's and will be taking 5 more. My C's were in honors chem and honors pre calc, I have several extra curriculars.

I understand that admission into colleges is not based solely on numbers an others factors are considered but please refrain from writing a speech about it. What are my chances based solely on these credentials?

I am applying to Chapel Hill, NYU, George Washington University, Syracuse University, Penn State, American University, University of South Carolina, Appalachian State, and Boston University.

I am a north carolina resident (chapel hill, appalachian)
I am an african american female.

Congrats on the Penn State acceptance!!! Best of luck, honestly wouldn’t even worry about the other colleges because you already got into possibly one of the stringer options on your list. Best of luck and make sure to post the rest of the decisions…
