High school senior
Female
GPA-3.7
ACT-28
Did an exchange year in high school, member of NHS, involved in the school orchestra, was student body Vice President, probably around 100 hrs community service. Also involved in 4H sports and went to state level sport competition.
I was homeschooled and then in junior year I attended a charter school so I didn’t really have access to AP classes, but took several dual credits (two sciences and two histories). I’ve had 6 histories, 4 sciences, 5 english, and 4 maths.
I am hoping to major in Biochemistry.
Thanks!
In state or OOS? matters for W&M.
B/c your GPA looks to be a combo of homeschool, charter school, community college & your year abroad it is a little problematic, but 92% of admitted W&M students have a higher GPA, and your ACT is in the bottom 1/3rd of admitted students.
Your ECs probably make more sense spelled out, but it is hard to figure out from what you have posted. It looks like:
Grade 9: homeschooled: 4H sports
Grade 10: homeschooled: 4H sports
Grade 11: charter school & DE: student body VP
Grade 12: charter school & DE: NHS, school orchestra
But if so, when was the exchange year?
Coming in to a new school as junior and being elected student body VP immediately is pretty impressive (you were lucky your school does them in the fall- a lot of schools do them in the spring for the following autumn).

OOS: Extreme reach
