The average ACT scores for incoming Barrett students for fall 2014 was 28.9. You may be competitive as you are but to be sure you should try to get that ACT score up. Or take the SAT and see if you do better on that.
As an Arizona resident, I wouldn’t worry too much. I think being in the top 10% and having a high gpa will help a lot. I wasn’t in the top 10% (I was 15%) and had an act of 28 with a 3.6 gpa and was invited in. I chose not to do it though because it’s really only useful if you plan on going to grad school. I don’t know what you plan to major in, but w.p. Carey has their own version of an honors program called leaders academy for top 15-20% that wpc students are automatically admitted to. You get a seperate advisor (mine is super helpful), study lounge, free printing, and a few other perks. It’s not really as prestigious as Barrett, but I can still put that I was in an honors program on resumes. Hope this helps!
