Guys, I really don't care much for scholarships. It's not really that much of an issue for me. I'm talking about chances.

You're in at MSU.

bump.............

I'm all for the Big Ten as well.
My stats are Ivy Level; I don't really want to list them.
However, I want the big-college atmosphere like the Big Ten, but I also want solid academics. Tops would be Michigan, then Wisconsin, and Minnesota for me. However, Michigan and Wisconsin, due to the lack of gift-based financial aid (as opposed to loans), would be much more expensive for me than say, Princeton, with its new no-loans policy or Harvard, that says that the average cost, after gift-aid is comprable to in-state.

I can't justify paying more to go to these schools, since I'm not in-state at any of them. Hooray Mizzou... yeah right.

minijon, Minnesota has an agreement with the Midwest states, called the Midwest Student Exchange Program. You can go there, and pay 150% the in-state rates. It's a great option for those who want to stay in the Big Ten, but don't have the stats for a scholarship at schools who award them (Iowa, Michigan State, Indiana, Ohio State), or the money to spend for the schools who don't offer many scholarships (Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Penn State, Purdue).

Bump, be optimistic like me

The big ten is the best conference. You'll love in no matter where you end up, unless of course you become a wolverine or a buckeye. Screw both of them. We are...Penn State.
