Where is your home state? You have very similar stat as my D1 who got accepted to NU and UMich (attending in state with merit scholarships) a couple years ago. UMich CoE would be a low match for in state and high match from OOS considering a girl applying to CoE.
I’m out of state but I have legacy if that means anything
Wow, you are very competitive for these schools! However, most of these are all very, very competitive to get into…my older brother was similar to you and was rejected by Tufts and Cornell but accepted into Penn and Duke. Do not be discouraged if you are not accepted into all of these schools though. However, I can assure you that you are a very competitive candidate for these schools; your test scores are phenomenal and your extracurricular activities make you even more of a unique person…(rock climbing is very unique and interesting, in a good way, and that is one factor that makes you stand out to the colleges even more). Keep up the good work!
I can tell that you are a very good and well-rounded student…but how did you study for the ACT’s? I really want to improve my score:)
Case Western and RPI are slam dunks. I think you will probably get into CMU, Michigan, and Tufts or at least 2 of these 3. MIT, i don’t think so, not enough hard core EC’s in the STEM field. Penn and Northwestern will depend on how well you write your essays and how you package your accomplishments
Grand parents are secondary legacy that does not count as much.
Your numbers are similar to my daughter who is an Engineering freshman now at RPI except you’re a little stronger in math (she got 750), while her overall SAT was higher (2300), and she got a 4 in AP Chem and Calc BC and a 5 in AP CS.
RPI- you should have no problem getting accepted -
Mich, CMU - probably (my d got into CMU but chose RPI)
Penn, MIT - only if you’re lucky (my d applied to Penn by was not accepted; FYI, she was also turned down by Stanford and Princeton and Berkeley. She made the waitlist at Cornell, Rice and Chicago but ultimately not accepted to any of those; her first choice was Chicago but is very happy at RPI–fits in very well ; if you’re a “nerdy” type of girl you’ll probably fit in)
