Courseload: All other classes taken have been Honors or Pre-AP. I am part of a health science magnet program, so my electives all have to do with health science occupations. Through the Health Science program I have been OSHA certified, CPR certified, and will in a few weeks be a certified Dental Assistant. Currently i am taking English 1302, Scientific Research and Design (magnet class), College Prep (weighted class required for magnet students), AP Computer Science and AP Environmental Science.
ECs:
I really lack here, so I am worried.
Freshman: HOSA
Sophomore: HOSA
Junior: National Honor Society, Gamer’s club, Interact Club
Senior: Creed, BETA, Key, Amnesty International, National Honor Society, Interact Club, Humane Society, Environmental Science Club.
I have about 500+ community service hours
I am part of a dual enrollment program and will graduate with credit for US History 1302, English 1301 and 1302, and College Algebra. (12 hours total)
I am working on my application and editing my essays, but I am very worried my ECs, rank, and essay scores for SAT and ACT will weigh my application down. Also, for my second choice I am still debating between Jackson School of Geosciences for Environmental Science (Geology) or School of Liberal Arts for Environmental Science (Geography), so if anyone has any info about which school is easier to get into or which has a better program that would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
