<p>Try to apply to some state universities that you know you’ll get into. Like for me, I live in Southern California and I applied to UCR, UCI, UCSD as safeties. I mean UCI and UCSD are ranked in the 40s so they’re good but I have a better chance to get into there than RPI in Troy, NY which is ranked lower. In state public schools will more likely accept you. I also have a good chance for UCLA and UCB.</p>
