My worry is test scores...my ACT is middle 50%, and subject test is just plain disgusting. But with all my involvement considered as well, what do you think my chances are?

Thanks so much for reading this and for your responses to come!

bump…chance PLEASE!

High/Medium Match it will depend on Essays

Thanks Sameer! I feel pretty confident about my essays. I wrote my Common App essay about my hospitality industry business and my Cornell Essay about my passion for hotels, work experience in hospitality, and vision for developing a hotel brand some day with my entrepreneurial roots.

My essays were read by a Kennedy speechwriter (family friend) and a Huff Post editor, who loved them and offered minor pieces of advice for improving flow…

Can’t wait for tomorrow night…would love more opinions in the meantime though.

Only 20 hours to go!

Best of luck!! Can’t wait to see the huge smile on your face! let me know how it goes for sure! Do you mind chancing me while we wait?

ur a CEO of a company that makes over 80k in sales? why are you going to college lol. I’d say you have a nice shot even though ur test scores are less than stellar

@Sameer1- I will definitely let you know how it goes and I chanced you back! When will you hear from Johns Hopkins?

@oohtobeagooner - Yes, I usually try not to bring it up, but I wanted to be very upfront here to get the most accurate responses. My goal one day is to develop a line of luxury, traditional boutique hotels at reasonable prices, which is something I think the current industry lacks.

Next December 15th…hehe Junior FTW

@Sameer—ahh, you’ll be in really good shape then! Just keep up the good work in the meantime!

Anyone else out there willing to chance me…it would be appreciated! Also, anyone think the subject test may be the sole determinant between an admission and a deferral or a deferral and a rejection? That’s my fear.

High match…

For anyone out there who is interested, I was deferred.
