chance me for duke civil and environmental engineering early decision please?

<p>hey, i am a junior in one of the top fifty high schools in the nation. i love duke but unfortunately i believe that my freshman year and sophomore year ruined my chances to get into duke civil and environmental ed. my grades and stuff are:
freshman yr gpa: 3.3 out of 4
sophomore yr gpa: 3.3 out of 4
junior yr gpa: 3.8 out of 4 (my senses to do better kicked in late =P)
aps: (my schools have majors and these are all the civil engineering aps b.c i am in the civil major)
-pltw civil engineering
- ap surveying
- civil engineering senior design studio (another question is that if i can submit my portfolio with my application. it is this huge binder with all of my laminated projects so i don't know if that is possible or not)
- ap calc ab, ap english, and ap chem for senior yr

extracurriculars: member and vice president of aerospace club ever since freshman yr, member of science olympiad for 4 years (hope to be president and win awards in may), finalist in nycsef and possibly intel (results come out in june) with project on dermatology, hope to work with a duke professor on civil eng. research (highly unlikely though since my school only has research connections to rpi), 250 hrs of volunteering in a hospital, 250 hrs as an intern in a tutoring center, 500 hrs of volunteering in my school's 'mouse squad', 200 hrs as a volunteer in my school's internship office, member of the ace engineering program</p>

<p>please respond! i take criticism really well so if this is truly a reach for me i would love to hear so i don't apply to a school i would not gain admission to. ty!</p>

<p>Honestly I don’t see this happening. a 3.3 GPA for freshmen and soph GPA? And honestly, your extracurricular are normal and nothing great. The only thing that makes your application look good is the 35 on the ACT. You can always apply to see what happens though. Good luck.</p>

<p>yeah your totally right now that i think abt it lol, i messed it up for myself but atleast i got back on track. duke is out of scope, i just liked it cause my brother goes there. i talked to my guidance and he’s like ‘rpi early decision fits you’ and i actually visited it and fell in love loll, i have to go to a realistic school so yeah- thanks for the advice! (please no more responses to this thread, just ignore the unrealistic inquiry =))</p>
