Also, I've done some summer programs and some other stuff.

My School:
-Highly ranked school
-I've taken up to multivariable calculus in math and I've taken probably 4 AP and 1 IB HL classes (which is a good number for my school.)
race: white.

I'm worried that I don't have enough extracurriculars/they don't show my interest in math or science too well. Any other ideas for what schools I should apply regular to (I'm into science/engineering but I like other stuff too)?

And I'll chance you back when I have time. Thanks!

I think the fact that you are White with a 2340 in math will make an impact - even at the best schools. I think you have a good shot at UVa, Vandy, and CM. Hopefully you can write strong essays.

All that being said, there isn’t a true safety school on this list. I’m not sure if thats because you arent considering them, or if you just dont care to be “chanced” for them on this forum. Either way, consider a few safties.

I’m not too worried about safeties at this point. My plan is to see where I get in early and then decide how many/what safeties I apply to for regular.

Wow so your stats are stellar I can’t see you being rejected based on those stats, so if your essays are good, I couls see you getting in anywhere. BC,Rice,Vandy UPenn, UVA, and CMU are all matches. And I wouldn’t be surprised if you got into Yale, WashU, Princeton, or even MIT (which I think is the hardest to get into). Nova is a safety :). Best of luck!

The ivies and MIT are reaches, but this doesn’t mean you’re not a strong candidate for admission. You have solid grades and test scores, and there’s a good chance that you get accepted into one of those elite schools. I like your odds a lot.

You have solid test scores and grades, but I have concerns about your strength of schedule and extra curricular… How much interest have you shown in these schools? I think that while you have a chance, these elite schools may want to see more AP classes and maybe more extra curriculars that you’re passionate about. Essays and recs could play a role, especially if they’re effective. Consider added 2-3 safeties or targets to your list to widen your options. Good luck!
