Chance me for Exeter, Andover, St Pauls, Deerfield, Hotchkiss, Choate

Hey so these are the schools I am applying for.
I am applying for the 10th grade, I am of Korean descent but a Canadian citizen.

I got an overall of 99 on my ssats, (96 verbal and reading, 97 math)
I go to a special private school in Toronto, it's really prestigious and known as the smartest high school in the country

Because of the strict academics, my average is only an 89.6
Last year however, I got straight A+'s in all my courses

In the summer, I spend 3 weeks volunteering at free summer camps for inner-city kids
I play on the JV basketball team
I placed as an event finalist for DECA this year, and will be moving on to compete at the Provincial level (Business competition)
I attend art and drama class outside of school
I am very involved in my church, and volunteer there all the time
I have gone to school speech competition finals in grades 4, 6, 7, and 8

I speak English, Korean, and French, but have studied Spanish and Latin as well

I think my interviews went well, they seemed to really like me.

I will be applying for financial aid, and I have no relatives that go to these schools.
Chances?

you seem to have a good chance, however applying to 10th grade is SUPER tough. Make sure your essays and recs are good and I’m sure you’ll get in to a couple of the schools your applying to. You have excellent SSAT scores and pretty good ecs. Are you fluent in Korean and French? If so, that could definitely help! Good luck :)

I am fluent in Korean, and semi-fluent in French
as in I could carry on a simple conversation, but no necessarily be writing books

Oh also
Every single one of the courses I take are enhanced
I take a year up in math, science and drama as well.

tu es un superbe appliquant! Par contre tout le monde sur ce site l’est donc tout ce que je peux te faire est te souhaiter bonne chance :D

Where’s the hook? Where’s the passion? Possibly the public speaking/business aspect of your application?

There are lots of Korean and Asian applicants, so be warned. You do seem like quite a good applicant though, and I wish you good luck. :)
