Duke and Vanderbilt are the most prestigious out of all of those, so probably not those due to the low test scores. The others are a maybe since you’re a URM although still it might be difficult with the low test scores. Also, make sure someone reads everything before you send it in, because there are many mistakes in your post.

Sorry for the mistakes. I usually don’t write that bad but I was pretty annoyed by the fact that my PC kept saying that the webpage had expired so I had to write it three times. xD

In respect to your comment, I know four people from my school that got into very presitigous universities with relatively low scores. If I recall correctly, one of them got into Duke with approx. a 1740 on the SAT. The others got into MIT and Harvard with scores of 1860(MIT),1950(MIT), and 2010(Harvard) respectively.

By the way, you should try looking at my stats in a holistic way instead of just looking at my scores. People with 36’s or 2400’s get rejected too you know… >.>

Holistically you seem like a good student. I can tell that you have a passion for the science field, your ECs are strong. I think you have a realistic shot at all of them.

Thanks a lot :D

Duke is almost always somewhat of a toss-up regardless of stats or other achievement simply because of the applicant pool they receive. Other than that, the rigor of courses you took should be able to make up for the slip-up on your SAT, and your extra-curricular activities should put you into the competitive range.

Thanks!
anyone else wanna chance me? :D
