Chance me for good pure/applied math schools. I'll chance back.

Great ECs!
Other math schools? Check out Harvey Mudd! It’s a great school for math.
MIT-reach
U Chicago-reach
U Mich-match
Johns Hopkins-match/low reach
NYU-match
Carnegie Mellon-match

Bump.

Are there any good LAC’s for math? I’m trying to broaden my horizons.

harvey mudd is even better than MIT for a pure math/science school. check this out, they make the most money too.

The only problem is that I don’t think I would go all the way to Cali from NY.

I’m not going to apply to Caltech or anything tehre I think.

Even if you self-study Olympiad math, if you haven’t made AIME that’s not going to really help you. However, I think all of those schools are pretty good chances for you, with Carnegie Mellon being a high match and JHU being a low reach.

Yeah Bobtheboy I know :(. I missed AIME by 1.5 for three years in a row.

I was so upset over not making AIME this year it was unbelievable. I’m kind of over that now but at least I have ARML and PUMAC.

Thanks for the chance.

Bump, taking a break from mathcamp app.

So much of this has been said already; but you are extremely well qualified. Going to a high school with a reputation is a great boost. And being at USAMO level is pretty awesome :).
I would most definitely apply early to MIT, their EA policy is pretty open and the chances go way up. Also, I think that is your only real reach… Just a note on MIT, even though I know you are like a math genius and are looking for a hardcore math college, they like to see the less intense side of you. For example, I would maybe highlight your piano playing an involvement with your synagogue.

best of luck! though you hardly need it :)
