Chance me for HYPSM

If you’re not a ■■■■■, post after your results come out next year. I honestly look forward to seeing just how many top tier schools that someone with your caliber can get into.

Wow! Impressive EC’s, and if you get your ACT/SAT to a 35/2300 you have an extremely good chance of acceptance to any of these schools. Are you recruited for tennis?

Considering the facts that he hasn’t tried to deny meganfoxftw’s statements, or even reply, and has actively posted on other threads after the date of meganfoxftw’s statements, I assume that he really did just lie to both us and the scholarship organization…

I’m very happy for you! I never say anyone is a lock, so I’ll say you have very very very high shot. I read about you in the Discus award site and I’m impressed. Kudos to you. Your scores don’t matter too much anymore because you have the EXPERIENCE, something most high schoolers lack. That’s why they (we?) use scores to cover that up. Again, I’m very impressed and happy for you.

Would you mind chancing me back as well?

Curious, how did you find the connections for your research mentorship?

he isn’t ■■■■■■■■.

Please let us know how you fare in admissions; I won’t be surprised if you are accepted to all of HYPSM.

These are the kinds of people I’ll be competing against?

But what if Megan Fox says is true…cough ■■■■■ cough

Maybe meganfoxftw is the ■■■■■.
Although I want to believe him/her for my own dignity’s sake.

Hmmm, I did go to the discus website and find a kid had the exact same stats as this guy (Harvard lectures and clubs word-for-word). So maybe Meganfoxftw is NOT a ■■■■■.

True. If meganfox is not a ■■■■■, I hope he gets turned down by every single college/university he will apply to.

@born2dance94: OP posted on page six that he is the kid you found.

Why does everyone think that meganfoxftw, rather than OP, is the ■■■■■? OP has clearly been actively posting on other forums at dates past meganfoxftw’s post. If OP is not a ■■■■■, why hasn’t he at least tried to defend himself? He clearly knows about meganfoxftw’s post too, considering his activity on this site since then.

I don’t know, it seems kind of ridiculous that the Discus award organization wouldn’t investigate the validity of his application.

@nobody777 no I believe OP is the ■■■■■, not meganfoxftw

@danishpastry123 I know kids who lied and got accepted to the Ivies. Clearly it’s possible to get away with that sort of thing.

OP has yet to comment; how frustrating.

Hey everybody! I thought the thread had died down but clearly it hasn’t. You guys are making a big deal about Megan Fox. I don’t know who she is and what she does/does not know about me, but she has two things right. She is reporting what she sees from me, but I don’t think she knows the rest.

Since I don’t know anybody here, I’ll have you know that the iPad is true. I had a first-gen iPad which I sold to my tennis coach for tennis lessons last Christmas. It was bought with my own earnings from teaching tennis and a $100 gift card given to me by my aunt. Now the car. It’s a 2008 sedan… Also true. Like I said earlier, my dad was at one point doing well financially. He bought it BEFORE everything bad happened. After, he commuted two hours each way to work but couldn’t afford the gas (20mpg). His boss was appreciative and gave him a prius for his work. Flash forward to today: my dad still uses the prius. He gave me the sedan because it was cheaper to pay off the car than to sell it and buy me something used. Trust me, we did the math. The car has been dented, bumped, the wheel bearing is about to melt, and the battery is low. And it has over 150,000 miles on it (low to some people’s standards). The only thing which will save it is for me to stop driving. My money is saved for my trip to Oxford!

The only error I see I made was NHS. I meant National Junior Honor Society. I was wrong there and I fixed it. Sorry to offend anyone

Also I didn’t get the scholarship, only the award. I’m only a member of NHS at my school. I know the officers and they are all great people. I would never lie to a scholarship organization or a college. I’m proud of what I’ve done. Maybe I could have done something else and gone a different path. I want to get into my first choice college as much as anyone else wants to for theirs. I wish you guys luck and hope you guys get in everywhere. Thank you for chancing me and I hope I’ll here positive news from you all come December or April

Lying to a scholarship organization, or to anyone for that matter, is sinful, but you don’t need to hear it from me. I have never called out anyone on their posessions and refrain from saying anything bad, even on a forum such as this I didn’t care much when people called butters1 a ■■■■■. But my name is out there now.

Again good luck. I’m leaving for Oxford on Thursday. Trip begins with an interview at u of Chicago. Wish me luck!

Guys he seems legit. It’s sad when he has to give out his real name and personal sites to get confirmation but such is the internet age. Meganfoxw/ehisnameis seems like a bitter classmate. Focus on chancing butters1 rather than digging up dirt that doesn’t exist.

Merci.

Thank you gerian

@Gerian He had already given out his name when he posted those awards he won, the websites of which have his name right there for anyone to see.

Well, I still don’t know what to think, but if you’re not lying, good luck.

Good luck kid. It is not worth revealing yourself here and may be you should ask the admins to remove your last post so you don’t start getting stalked.

@born2dance94 I should have known that before I created the thread.
