Chance Me for Middlebury!

Hey Guys!

One of my top choice colleges is Middlebury. Based on my stats below, can you guys chance me? I plan on applying Early Decision. Thanks!!

Stats

-SAT: 2100

Served as an intern for my state's congresswoman

-Served as a congressional intern in Washington D.C for 2 of my state's senators

-Made it into the National Orchestra where I performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C

-Straight A's (exception to one B)

-GPA- 3.8 (unweighted)

-Involved in Young Democrats, Model UN

-Concert Master of my school orchestra

-Eagle Scout of America

-Involved in Track and Fencing

Received a Letter of Recommendation from my Congresswoman (not sure if this helps)

-Recipient of the Alphonse Grasso Citizenship Award

Speaker of: Chinese, German and English

tell us about the rigor of your courseload?

Yeah absolutely! I am taking 4 AP classes, and the rest are honor classes. I have all A’s in them so far except for AP Literature where I have an 86. I am a junior

Sounds like you have a good chance if you apply Early Decision. Without another hook, you may be waitlisted or worse in RD.

Just curious, why are you planning on applying ED if it’s only “one of” your top choice schools?

You have a reasonable shot ED. Your scores are in the ballpark but higher is always better, and Middlebury superscores the SAT as I’m sure you know. Try to get your AP Lit up to an A. Continue the rigor of your courses senior year.
