Not really sure if NYU calculates freshman grades/how they calculate
But from what I calculate this is my sophomore and junior year cum GPA
UW: 3.65
W: 3.95
I know NYU stats are a lot higher but I did hear that NYU has holistic admissions and that’s the only thing that gives me hope tbh
I decided to take the ACT instead of the SAT and came back with a 32.

I took Geometry over the summer and got an A+ in both semesters

I am aware I had really really realllllyyy bad grades in my sophomore year which I am afraid will set me back. But the two A+s I got from Geometry are going to be calculated in.
Junior year:

Speech and Debate: 2 years Captain of Congressional Debate
-I qualified to the state tournament (Congress)
-Semifinalist at the Berkeley Invitational (Congress)
-2nd and 3rd place at local tournaments (Congress)
-6th place in Oratorical Interpretation at the local tournament
-3rd place at the Stephen Stewart Invitational. (Congress)

Women’s Advocacy Club: Leader for two years
Volunteer Work:
I am on the volunteer/advocacy committee in my community that advocates against laws that make the housing crisis worse–I am the youngest person on the committee. I have completed 100+ Hours of volunteering
I also volunteered this past summer for about 40 hours at the LGBTQ+ Youth Space
Writing:
I have created my own blog where I write articles about current events-specifically global issues related to women and I am also on the writing staff on a student-run newspaper/advocacy group called “Asian Youth for Civic Engagement”
Academic Clubs:
I have qualified for CSF membership since my sophomore year since then.
Essays:
I’m honestly really proud of my NYU ones-I wrote about some topics that my English teachers and college counselors adored.
