<p>Asian, Korean-ouch I know
Major: pre-med. I will consider more history/philosophy/humanities major if that gives me an edge.</p>

<p>Academics
School type: small town, Missouri. Sends maybe one student to Ivy level colleges every other year lol.
GPA: Non-weighted: 3.8691 Weighted: 4.8364
Rank: 20 out of 351. (5.7%)
Classes: my school offers like 6 or7 AP classes and I've taken/will take most of those, so I have chosen pretty much the hardest curriculum possible.
SAT I: CR: 720 Math: 730 Writing: 700
SAT II's: Biology: 770, US history: 740. I've chem, math II, and world hist as well on Dec. 1.
ACT: 34
AP: US and Euro history: 4's Biology: 5. Will take more this year</p>

Drums (2 or 3 years) self-taught, i play for my church
math club (10-12) officer(12), various math contests every year. School champion for 9-10 bracket(10), school champion for 11-12 bracket (11)
TaeKwonDo (probably 9 years now) 3rd degree black belt. Assistant instructor
NHS (10-12)
Relay for Life (10-12)
Heavy involvement with church: Youth leader, drums, korean-english translations</p>

Johns Hopkins, Northwestern regular undergad, UChicago-big reaches
NYU-my only "safety"</p>

<p>AND I would really appreciate it if you could recommend me some match-slight reach schools. In other words, I need more Plan B's other than NYU. :)</p>

<p>You look solid all around but these schools are so difficult to get into. I think besides NYU, you may get into Chicago and Northwestern and possibly some of the others. I would try and add some other schools like Wake Forest, Michigan, Boston College and Tulane. Best of luck!</p>
