Hello,
I am an international student from Slovenia, Europe, but I’m a US citizen, since I was born in Virginia. I am top 30% of my class with a GPA of ~4.0/5.0. I want to know what my chances are for Texas tech. I want to study Computer Engineering.
SAT: 1900
Math: 660
Reading: 600
Writing: 640
I was expecting to get around 700 on my math in order to get into UT Austin, GA Tech, but I got a 660 again, so there’s that.
Do I have any chances at all for texas tech?
Thanks
I think you should get in if you are full pay, SAT scores are within range and GPA is also in range

I am full pay. Hopefully someone else weighs in…
thanks for answering!
@GustafAngus I know that Texas Tech wasn’t your first choice but I’m curious as why it’s on your list. Is it just because you think you can get in with your scores (which I think you can) or are there other reasons? I’m asking because my son now has Texas Texas on his list and I’d like to know why others are choosing Texas Tech.
I was hoping for atleast 700 on my math score to even have a chance at Georgia tech or UT Austin, but seeing as I got a 660 AGAIN (got the same on my jan. 24th SAT), there’s little to no chance for either GA Tech or UT Austin, so I had Texas Tech as a backup, and I guess I’m gonna use it now. I choose Texas tech for my backup because I heard they have quality staff and even teach the same way or similarly to UT Austin, it is suitable for my SAT Scores, and hell, it’s in texas, there’s no way I’m gonna go study in the north
