Hello,
I am hoping you could chance me for a few colleges. I am an international student from Slovenia, Europe, but I was born in Virginia, the US, so I have a US citizenship. I just got back my June 6th SAT scores. I want to study Computer engineering.
SAT Score: 1900
Math: 660
Reading: 600
Writing: 640
I’m actually disappointed at my math score, I got the same on the January SAT, and I was hoping for atleast 700, but no point crying about it, I guess.
I attend a Slovenian highschool, I am top 30%, with a GPA ~4.0/5.0, I don’t know yet, since I haven’t finished school yet.
Extracurricular stuff:
- Around 100 hours of community service at an old people’s home.
- I was my school’s official “computer service” guy
- Class president and highschool government member for 2 consecutive years
- Made money by fixing broken phones, computers and building PCs.
There’s probably some more stuff, I just don’t remember. lol
I am starting some projects during this summer in connection to electrical engineering, so I’ll add that to my application.
Colleges I’m looking at:
- UT Austin
- Georgia Tech
- Texas Tech
- North Carolina State
- Texas A&M
These are a few of the schools that caught my eye. I was really trying to improve my sat for UT Austing and GA Tech, but with a 660 math score again I know my chances are slim… Please feel free to advise me some other schools. I am preferably looking to study in the south (dixie).
I hope I provided all the information needed. I reallly appreciate any replies, thanks so much!
