Chance me for the College of Arts and Sciences at NYU?

Hello all! I was hoping someone could please chance me for the College of Arts and Sciences? It’s definitely my first choice. My intended major is English. I’m currently going into Senior year in a relatively small well-known private school in Baltimore. Although we’re not Ivy-sending machines, we regularly send students to Hopkins, Georgetown, and Columbia.

• Short stories and nonfiction published in several literary magazines (since 10th grade year), and I’ve won one national-level award and two regional-level awards awards
• Been on the Dean’s List since Freshman year, and I’ve gotten an Academic Scholar award
• Internship at a publishing company
• Summer job at a local Books-A-Million
• Taken classes on writing at a local community college in the summer of freshman year, and taken credited creative writing classes at the University of Maryland summer of Sophomore year. I’ve done a summer program for writing at John Hopkins this summer.
• I’ve been volunteering at a nursing home since summer of freshman year, and I’ve volunteered with an organization in Baltimore which focuses on helping under-privileged children learn to read since sophomore year.
• First generation American, first generation college student. And I’m gay, though honestly I don’t know if that qualifies as being a minority of not.
• I’m predicting that I’ll have amazing recs and essays. I don’t think it’ll be much of an issue for me.

Please be honest. Like I said it’s my first choice, so I hope to get at least a few responses. Thank you for taking the time to chance me!
