Your jobs may affect the amt. of time that you can study for SATs and ACTs, so you may want to study for those as early as you can.

@Mathguy777 Thanks

I do appreciate the helpful advise offered by a few but how helpful is “your ECs are poor.” Crew and IB take up all most every minute of my school year.

Not sure how much the URM will help. I am mostly white but am a registered tribal member eligible for benefits. I will list my race as both white & NA.

It’s called constructive criticism.

Work hard to get your scores up, and volunteer a bit more. However, do not do something that you have no passion for, as in joining every single club possible. Colleges see right through that. It would be good if you volunteered in something crew related as that would be a great way to tie together leadership, extracurriculars, and volunteer work.

Good luck!

I am with Swingtime. Your application is not competitive with those test scores and GPA. It will lead an adcom to believe that your school has grade inflation. Ecs are very very weak. Sure 25 hrs a week is great, but it doesn’t look like you won anything. Furthermore, your ECs are not special, and don’t show passion. Sure, you do rowing and are a member of NHS and Girl Scouts. So is almost everyone else (besides rowing). Put some safeties on your list.

Coming from a rower, I think u just really need to emphasize that on your application and write about it on your essay. You have great grades and have a chance for UVA and some lower ivies like cornell but schools like princeton are a reach.

PS PLZ CHANCE ME BACK
