Applied with health science as my major. I am scared that since I didn’t put a PACE major that I won’t get in. Let me know!
The SAT will drag you down. You can’t really do much about that, but don’t bet on sure admission to U Florida. You do have a chance tho.
I would say UF is a reach. You should have some safeties lined up. Anything is possible but you SAT is far outside the UF lane and the competition is fierce.
You definitely have a chance at getting it. I had a similar sat score and unfortunately it will drag you down a bit. My roommate/friend from high school and I have similar stats (gpa, school involvement, etc) but the one thing that really set us apart was that I had a 1230 gpa while she had 1300. I got into summer b and she got into fall. You definitely have a solid chance of getting into the summer b semester. Fall is more unlikely but still possible
@Alondrava what your guys rank in high school out of curiosity?
I was top 10%. Number 16 out of 200 students I believe.
@Alondrava i think a shot shot for summer or Pace… SAT is low but many examples of kids with same stats getting in
If you get accepted for summer and do well, don’t you automatically stay in for fall? If you apply for summer and get in (my son has applied for summer b) does that mean you aren’t in for the fall too?
@emptynestpls If you are accepted to summer, then you start your college career in early July rather than late August. You go to summer B, then get a week off and then begin taking classes in the Fall with everyone else.
You start seven weeks earlier, that’s it.
I am also curious about my chances
