my weakness...ACT only 26 and I have taken it multiple times...SAT is worse
I am taking them both over this fall

so what do you think? Do I have a realistic chance for fall? or should I apply summer UF?

I have no info on FSU but I think you are a little over %50 for UF. I am in the opposite situation as you, high ACT and low GPA. I think your ECs and awesome GPA will get you in, but make sure your essay is awesome and APPLY ED.

I retook the ACT today and plan to take the SAT again next month…Are my chances better if I apply to Summer B? I have heard conflicting information

They have something at UF called the Innovation Academy, pretty much a seperate school for Entrepreunership. They are on “Summer Break” in Fall, so if I am accepted to UF and this Innovation Academy, I will be enrolling in Summer B, by default. If I wasnt applying for this Academy, I would do Fall admissions because I would like to work over summer. I think Summer Admissions are slightly easier, only apply for it if you have no preference at all.

I saw that If accepted into that program then you are never permitted to take fall classes except online. I really want to be able to take classes on campus in the fall and have the option to take the summer off.

Yeah that’s something that was kind of a negative to me, I think that, for me, the good outweighs the bad. If it does suck taking classes over summer, I can always drop after my freshman year.

Had them all done before school started and applied for fall 2013
except Uf…applied begin Sept. for Summer B…already put in my Housing request for UF…retook ACT last week…and retaking SAT Oct. then hoping for the best

My understanding is that they let everyone know who applies by Nov. 1 on the same day in mid Feb.
That is for freshman. It may be different for transfer.

But you can put down a $25.00 deposit for housing as soon as you turn in your app…this gives you your priority number to actually apply to housing if you are accepted…two of the dorms do not have AC(they are deemed historical) and you do not want to end up in those…so I am told
