Chance me for UCs and Boston colleges

So I haven't heard back from any colleges yet and I just decided, why not do a chance thread just to hopefully get my hopes up!

I'm a Texas resident but I had lived in Maryland for my whole life up till 10th grade.

UC Berkley
UCI
UCSB

Boston University
Boston College
Harvard
Tufts
Northeastern

Safety Schools
UMD: College Park
UMD: Baltimore County
Towson
UT Austin

Stats:

I'm getting REALLY worried right now, everyone has got their decisions and I still haven't received mine, not from one single college I have applied to. I called all of them up and they said that they had received all of my information. I'm pretty sure im getting into most of my safeties but I would really love to go to Harvard, BC and my DREAM school UCLA. PLease give me some hope.

Im a legacy at UCLA is that helps.

im in about the same boat and would love to hear also

Your SAT score is decent/avaerage, but your GPA is low. You also applied for VERY competitive schools. I’ll have to say UCB, UCLA, Harvard, and a couple other colleges you listed are out of reach. Those schools have applicants with 4.0+ / high SATs that still get rejected. Nonetheless, good luck.

I know you said you come from a really competitive high school, but your gpa is very low. People that get into UCLA usually have at least a 4.15 weighted and a lot of admits go up to like a 4.6. Your rank is pretty low as well. You will most likely get into UC Irvine and UT Austin and maybe UCSB,they aren’t nearly as difficult to gain acceptance to as UCLA. Your ECs are good though and being a minority seems to help sometimes, so just be patient, that’s all you can do at this point:)
