Final Notes:
The one big thing I regret was not being able to take Physics AP my junior year. There was an overflow of students, which caused the science department to weed out the weaker candidates.
For some reason, my GPA and other stats weren't good enough. This ruined my high school plan of taking Physics AP junior year. Instead, I tried to increase the rigor of my classes by taking AP US History. This made it impossible for me to match GPA's with the other students that got into the Physics AP class (It is two periods.)

Are there any other colleges I should apply to?

Applying to

Your course work does not look very rigorous.

I’m guessing your school doesn’t weigh for ranking and there are many kids ahead of you with more rigorous course work?

I don’t see ivies but maybe the top UCs.

hmom5, I go to the same school and I can give feedback on that question. Our school ranks based on GPA. For example a student who took no AP classes whatsoever and took all the easy classes and managed to get a 4.00, they are ranked #1. However, if a student takes 5-6 AP classes which one of my friends did and gets two B’s, there rank is #40. At our school we have multiple students ranked #1.

My question to you? Will colleges be able to find out if a school has more than one student that is ranked #1 or just notice that the student didn’t take a rigorous schedule?

They will know if more than more student is valedictorian, and they will also take into account that the school ranks based on UW GPA. A less than fully rigorous course-load will be heavily frowned upon.

If they rank you on their own system (by weighted GPA), your rank would end up being top five percent at most since you didn’t qualify as ELC. If you got the letter requesting your GPA for the program, but didn’t get ELC, you alteast know you are in the top 12.5%.

But in that sense, your number one rank doesn’t mean anything.

Schools like Stanford end up having to do their own rankings with schools like yours, which rank by unweighted. But your stats are good enough to pretty much be guaranteed at UC Davis/SD. Cal and JHU both seem to be high match/low reach.

Yes. Most reconstruct your GPA too. Lots of high schools have lots of vals.
