<p>I know that UCSD allowed down to a 3.0 last year, and I'm sticking to the pipe dream that I'll get in. Reallllly hoping I do.</p>

<p>First of all, what is your major? Also, Is your 3.07 gpa right now the result of an upward trend? If so, it may increase your chances, but more importantly if your major is not impacted you will have a good shot at all of them, if it is… Im not so sure.</p>

<p>Major is political science. Not impacted at UCSD. And yes, my GPA has definitely gone up. I screwed up my first couple years and didn’t care. I’ve had a 4.0 the last 3 semesters. </p>

<p>Really REALLY hoping to get into UCSD. I live in the area :(</p>

<p>I was planning on it, but ended up having to take a math class this spring semester, which disqualified me for the TAG.</p>
