I have about 150 hours of community service between all of these. I also switched schools halfway through sophomore year which is why my participation in the ECs changed.
Also if you have suggestions of other colleges I should look at pls let me know!!
@floridagirl2016 I definitely think you can get accepted into all the schools, However, if you are considering to apply to UF, you need a slightly higher SAT score. If you can, bump up your weighted and unweighted GPA. Your extracurricular activities are looking very good, so you don’t have to worry about that.
@floridagirl2016 What was your weakness on the SAT? If you are better with more straightforward directions, the ACT is probably better for you (especially the math section). Keep in mind that the SAT is changing next year, so I recommend you take it again BEFORE the change occurs. Good luck! (:
@floridagirl2016 The SAT is changing in 2016. And generally speaking, are you good at math in school? Also, don’t worry; some students are very good at math in school but are not good at the SAT math.
@floridagirl2016 Lol I’m different; thinking and logic takes a while, and timing is a huge issue for me on the SAT. In this case, I think the SAT would still be better for you than the ACT because the ACT math is harder and deals with more memorization of formulas. However, give a shot at the ACT; you may actually do better (:
