intended major: pre-med
EC’s: community service tutoring, hospital volunteering, member of XC & track team for 4 years. theres more but I can’t describe because i dont want to reveal too much info.
My mid-year grades are all A’s except 1 B in AP Bio.
Hmm… I’m no expert; I’m in the same boat that you are in so take this with a grain of salt…
I’d imagine colleges don’t value things such as hospital volunteering unless that’s related to what you’re majoring in. I feel that colleges can spot resume padding, but the tutoring and the athletics are pluses.
While your ACT score is higher than their average, I’m sure that RD is more competitive than EA, and I don’t know their EA admissions profile. You’re UW GPA is a bit on the lower side; I’d say that’s your only flaw.
Overall, I’d say you have a chance, but you shouldn’t put all of your eggs in one basket.

Your GPA is the major concern. The rest are fine. Unfortunately, they view GPA as most important.
On naviance it shows me between 2 ppl who were deferred/accepted.
