You do realize that as an OOS applicant, UCLA/UCSB will cost around $55K/year with little to no financial/merit aid.
If you are full pay, the California UC’s would love to have.

Good Luck.

Your scores and GPA are not competitive for those UC schools.

As an OOS student, you will pay full tuition of $55K per year. The UC’s are public universities funded by the California taxpayers. Financial aid/scholarships are non-existent for OOS residents. You cannot gain instate residency so those fees will be for all 4 years.

Also, the UC’s require 1 year of a graded visual/performing arts course.

Pepperdine and USC are privates. I think Pepperdine is doable. USC will be tough.

@Gumbymom Pepperdine is my dream school. You think I have a good shot?

@aunt bea not even USCB??

@daytonconklin: Pepperdine looks like a Match for you. Make sure you have excellent LOR’s and essays to supplement your academics.

Pepperdine yes, but I don’t see a year of performing arts, so if you don’t have that requirement, you won’t get into UCSB.

Can you afford these schools??
