Chance me for Yale, Cornell, Princeton, etc.

Im a white guy from South Carolina who goes to a really small public school. Im looking to be chanced for:
Yale, Princeton, Cornell, Duke, Rice, UNC, Wesleyan, Amherst, Swarthmore. These are just the reaches on my list btw.

3.98 GPA, 4.96 WGPA (oh, and i have a really strong upward trend. Also, i take the most rigorous schedule at my school)
SAT- 2310. ( 800 Math, 710 Reading, 800 Writing )
ACT- 35. ( 36 English, 36 Writing, 34 Math, 32 Science )

SAT math 2: 720 (will retake... i hadnt had any precalculus when i took this). ill probably take history too since im pretty sure i can get close to 800 on that.

APUSH: 5. (only possible ap you can have by 11th grade. But i will be taking the other two that are offered senior year along with a full schedule.)

ECs.:
JV Baseball
Tutoring (middle school, and for several teachers)... > 100 hours so far.
Soup Kitchen
Academic Bowl
Japanese Culture Club VP
Interact Club
National Honors Society
International Club
Boys State
West Point Strong Leader Award
Awards for the highest averages in Algebra 2 and Precal.
My school doesnt have a mens tennis team, but i practice with the girls team. not sure if that counts, but it takes up a lot of my time.

Oh, and for my essay, i was thinking about writing about how im gay. ya know, for diversity reasons, etc. i had a hard time dealing with it and was depressed for most of 9th and 10th grade (conflicts with parents and stuff), which led to me not being involved with a lot of activities and the upward trend in my grades in my junior year. but idk if i should say any of that.

princeton requires 3 subject tests
and i imagine the others require at least 2

I think you stand a great chance with all those schools with those scores, GPA, and the essay topic combined with your obvious writing skills (800 essay).

thanks! so you would write the essay about that? and i looked up princeton’s requirements and on its website it says it requires 2, which i plan to do.

bump…

For Yale, I believe you do not need to send in SAT IIs if you took the ACT. I’m not entirely sure though. That may be very good for you if it’s the truth!
