Chance me - Harvard, Princeton... I'll chance you back

Right now, I'm only a Sophmore, and I realize that it's difficult to get a good reading with two more years to go, but here are the schools that I REALLY want to go to:

Harvard
Yale
Princeton
Stanford
Williams
Columbia
John Hopkins
Brown

Current Gpa = about 3.8 (unweighted)
Projected = 3.95 (unweighted)
Very competitive small private school - 32 per class
I am taking the hardest classes available at my school. I will do 4 aps, 1 other class for junior year, then 5 aps senior

SAT scores
Critical Reading - 750
Writing - 800
Math - 800

Sports (as projected for senior year):
Varsity Tennis - 4 years (number 1 seed for 3 years)
Varsity Ski Team - 4 years
JV soccer - 2 years
Varsity Soccer - 2 years

EC:
Trumpet - 1st chair in band, jazz band, orchestra - 4 years; All City Honor Band/Orchestra -3 years; in local jazz combo - gigging; play with faculty jazz combo at my school

Piano - concerto level performer
Founded and Led 4 musical chamber groups to festival this year - all Superior scores

Avid composer - have submitted works to several competitions, am awaiting results

Vocals (tenor) - I have taken voice lessons for several years, have performed with bands, combos, choral ensembles

Theater - Participated in 7 large company musicals (in high school), lead roles in 5, as well as 5 smaller scale plays in my school's program, am international thespian, and have directed 4 plays

Volunteer Work:

I have volunteered and eventually taught at Breakthrough Sacramento, a program that teaches academically motivated middle schoolers from lower income schools

I have taught trumpet to beginners (volunteered)

I have also volunteered in excess of 500 hours in my local hospital during the school year and over the summer

Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford…these are all reaches for anyone…you may want to find some more safeties…but you definitely have a chance if you keep up your ECs and
Williams…match
Columbia…high match if you have a good essay
John Hopkins…match
Brown…high match low reach…come up with something that makes you stand out.

Columbia is another Ivy. I don’t think it can be a proclaimed match for anyone. Regardless, your application appears to be developing well. Show your passion and distinguish yourself among others.

I am beginning to see a trend in your application of quantity over quality in your hours at the hospital. I hope you are gaining some interesting knowledge and experiences from your time there instead of just racking up hours.

Good luck!

You can’t just assume your GPA will increase from a 3.8 to 3.95.
Your ECs are decent
You probably should put your weighted gpa/class rank if you have it

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/861721-chance-please.html

Very good start, however as many have said it is pretty impossible to gauge those schools. You have decent shots at all of the HYPS!
Also look into schools like Dartmouth and Cornell as well.
Side note, you have a varsity ski team?!

Small private school - How many kids have gotten into the Ivies in the past? If its a few, then look around to see how you compare to those kids. That would give you a rough idea.
