Trumpet - 1st chair in band, jazz band, orchestra - 4 years; All City Honor Band/Orchestra -3 years; in local jazz combo - gigging; play with faculty jazz combo at my school</p>

Founded and Led 4 musical chamber groups to festival this year - all Superior scores</p>
<p>Avid composer - have submitted works to several competitions, am awaiting results</p>
<p>Vocals (tenor) - I have taken voice lessons for several years, have performed with bands, combos, choral ensembles</p>
<p>Theater - Participated in 7 large company musicals (in high school), lead roles in 5, as well as 5 smaller scale plays in my school's program, am international thespian, and have directed 4 plays</p>
<p>Volunteer Work:</p>
<p>I have volunteered and eventually taught at Breakthrough Sacramento, a program that teaches academically motivated middle schoolers from lower income schools</p>
<p>I have taught trumpet to beginners (volunteered)</p>
<p>I have also volunteered in excess of 500 hours in my local hospital during the school year and over the summer</p>
