<p>Current year courses:
AP Spanish 5: ( i could have taken the AP test last year but i was too scared)
AP Gov/Econ: both are semester classes
AP Lit: I'm expecting a 5 on the AP test
Multivariable Calc
Linear Algebra
Honors Science Research: (basically a research project class) I think it's a good project, but I won't know for sure until end of this year so it won't impact college admissions- essay is about it though.</p>

<p>Future: probably something medicine-related
SAT: 2200
SAT Bio: 780 SAT Math 2: 790 SAT Chinese: 680
Rank: 55 out of 790 ( i know this seems pretty bad, but it's because I didn't do so well my freshman year and I go to the biggest school in the state).
GPA: 4.6 weighted, 3.92 unweighted
Teacher Recs: Both very good
ECs:
Speech and Debate (9-12) captain this year and takes up quite a bit of time.
NHS (does this even count??)
LINK crew (11-12): this thing to help freshman
100+volunteer hours
national merit finalist
TA at local Chinese school</p>

<p>Ethnicity:
half-White and half-Asian (even though after reading some articles apparently checking Asian hurts me but I don't want to lie)
Not a legacy, but my sister went to Stanford. (but I'm not applying there because i really don't think I will get in...)</p>

<p>Common app essay should be good, but not incredible.</p>

<p>@BSmitty101: Being White/Asian is not an URM. Asians are over represented at top schools, and being Caucasian doesn’t really help or hurt me.</p>

<p>You’ll get into Notre Dame and NYU, I think, and probably at least one of the others (likely more, none are far out of reach).</p>
