Hey Im a senior in HS as of right now and am curious as to how hard it would be to get admitted.

UW GPA: 3.1 W: 3.3
ACT: 28 (Reading: 23 English: 27 Math: 28 Science: 33)
Workload: Relatively basic besides 2 honors classes and 2 AP classes.
EC’s: 120+ hours of community service, work 35+ hours a week, 4 years of baseball, Varsity Choir

Thanks!

Based on naviance the midpoint acceptance gpa and act is 3.8/29. At our hs, 50% were accepted with a 3.1 and 28 act.

Naviance isn’t all that helpful too be honest.

Why isn’t it helpful? It’s pretty black and white. Tells you who got in with a specific gpa and test score.

Not really, if you look up University of Missouri-Columbia, It will say how the average accepted GPA is a 3.63 and a 25 act (I think?). It’s a lot easier to get in with scores much below. Although it’s “black and white”, it doesn’t really explain other factors.

Bump. Someone provide more insight please!

It definitely sounds like you’re borderline; You have a good ACT score, though not great, and your GPA is definitely under. It seems like you have good EC’s but your lack of college prep classes might hurt you. This is just my opinion however. Good luck!
