As a last note, if you think some of the schools are a better fit than others (or schools not on my list) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me. Thank you. :]

You are applying to what are notoriously the most competitive colleges in the nation AND the world, so it’s hard to say that you’re a sure in anywhere… however, you’re stats, ECs, etc. are INCREDIBLE (my jaw literally dropped as I was reading them). I think you have a great shot at all of those schools.

Chance me back?

Incredible stats! great work, this profile has no faults. sadly, all those schools are crazy competitive to get into. you"re in at chicago, probably duke, WASHU, slightly worse chances atpenn and columbia. HYPMC are crazy reaches for all, but you should get into one or more of them. I’m not too familiar with the selectiveness of PLME, but Im pretty sure it has a 5% acceptance rate roughly, which would make it the hardest to get into. related question: is it possible to apply to PLME and Brown? I mean, can they say yes to brown but no to plme, or do they just reject you from both automatically? anyways, great stats dude, chance back?

Amazing stats. You better have some perfect essays to send these schools because your profile is like the rest of the majority of the applicants applying to these schools.

Good luck!

You have an excellent chance at the schools you are considering. You have very impress stats.
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/756915-what-my-chances-cornell-umich-penn-st-rice-madison-nyu-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

Thank you to the first three (scratch that four) posters, I didn’t know there were people up this late (I’m in EST…so if you’re somewhere else this obviously does not apply).

Bumps are so boring. So I decided to add a quote too.

“So I have to wonder what could be more humiliating then someone calling your girlfriend a cow and not being metaphorical?”
----House M.D. (AKA My Hero)

Love the quote, are you considering Cornell? Thanks for the suggestions and quick response! Also thank you for your sincerity.

Asian? your country is …?

happyl, I don’t see what relevance my specific country of origin has on my college application. They don’t even ask for that sort of detail on applications.
Furthermore, judging from your posting history, you like to go onto “chance me” threads and ask questions for your own benefit, without actually chancing the author of the thread. If you’re so interested in others’ family contributions or their ethnicity, I suggest you make your own thread, instead of wasting my time. You’re not being clever, and you’re certainly not being helpful.

On a less aggressive note:
Cuddy: “Where did you come from?”
House: “Apes, if you believe the Democrats.”

-bump-

Your stats are fantastic! I would be very surprised if you didn’t get into the majority. HYP are reaches for EVERYONE so nothing is a sure thing, but you’ve got a great shot.

Have you considered Johns Hopkins?

Chance me back:
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/755553-chance-please-ill-chance-back-asap-2.html</a></p>

P.S. Love the quotes!

haha~~ I’m asian too… SO … I ask you that question…

I think you are Singaporean…

The fact that you’re asian is, again, irrelevant.
Think whatever you want.
“lol.”

Bump.

“Today I saw a bird vs. squirrel fight. The car won.”
—Unattributed.

I’d say you’re most likely in at Duke, MIT, Columbia, Chicago, Washington, and Upenn.

I think your scores are just AMAZING along with all your activities. You’ll definitely get in at least two on that list since some of the Ivies are always a slight reach for everyone.

Chance me as well?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/758179-probabilitize-me-ivies-other-colleges.html</a></p>

The thing you have to remember is that for HYPS, 80% of their applicants are going to be like you (not demeaning you or anything, I would kill for your numbers). So you need something that will set you apart from all other geniuses. Unfortunately, from my limited knowledge, you lack that X factor, so I think that HYPS will all be reaches, unless your essay is god like. But you should be high matches with the lower Ivies, like Brown, and Darthmouth. Do check out Duke and Rice, which should also be matches.

I agree with ppinkberry.
