Hey I'm a rising senior and wanted to know my chances for the following schools:
Penn (Wharton) probably will apply ED, Princeton(sibling currently enrolled, don't know if that matters), Yale, UVA EA, Emory, Indiana, Michigan, Vanderbilt, UGA, and South Carolina(in state). I'll chance back if anyone wants

I think you have an ok shot at Penn, Princeton and Yale. Good shot at UVA, Emory, Mich and Vandy, and you are pretty much in everywhere else haha. You would be stronger with a hook. (Chance back please)

You have great chances at all those schools! I wouldn’t apply to all 10, so maybe cut out a few middle-of-the-road schools (since that makes up the bulk of your list).

ECs don’t look great for Wharton, but still good shot, and even better shot at all the others. I think Princeton might be your best shot reach–having siblings does tend to help (although not completely), especially since you probably have a pretty similar app. to your sibling (which Princeton clearly liked). Good luck!

Good shot everywhere except Wharton and Princeton because of weak ECs… You should have some idea if you compare your app to your sibling and see where they got in. oh and on the legacy question it just asks for grandparents and parents

Nice EC with positive leadership qualities to show off to admissions committees, though the EC themselves are nothing to special for applicants to these top schools in the country. Your GPA is unbeatable and is very impressive considering the (11 i counted) APs you have taken throughout HS. ACT is also top 75% (even more) for all the schools you are applying to. before I chance, REMEMBER: Ivy Leagues are low reach at best for even the most qualified applicants.

Penn (Wharton) probably will apply ED–for ED i would say u have a low reach (be happy, I never give anyone less than a reach for Wharton b/c it is so damn competitive [not only the most competitive school in terms of peer competition in the UPenn system, but in the US acc. to my bro a current student at UPenn CAS as well as other alum] for ED i think u have a solid chance. I have seen kids with stellar EC and normal SAT (e.g. 2000) get in as well as kids with 2300+ or 34+ get rejected b/c of low GPA or adequate EC.) Wharton more than most schools really look to EC as a determining factor.
, Princeton(sibling currently enrolled, don’t know if that matters)—sibling is a minusculem boost of “legacy” but nothing too special—low reach
Yale—reach
UVA EA----match
Emory----match

Emory: match
UVA: match
Michigan: match
Vanderbilt: high match
Princeton: reach
Penn: reach
Yale: reach
Others: safeties
You’re good for all those schools, except your ECs are a little generic and weak for the ivies.

EC’s are kinda generic, so make sure that your essays really stand out. I also hope that your teacher recommendations make you look like a stellar student, which you seem to be.
