chance me-International student fro India

Reply please…

Can anyone suggest me the colleges that are reach for me.
I need colleges that has great aerospace engineering and astrophysics programs that gives financial aid for Indians.

Why do you want reaches? It is better to get a good view on your matches first.

K then, can you tell me my matches.I have also acted in many plays.I collect coins.
I have more than 140 different Indian coins.I have a collection of foreign coins too.
But please tell me the colleges that are good in their programs.Thank you for your advice,Caltech JPL

I am sorry to tell you this but the collection of coins would not help in your case. Even I have a vast collecion of Indian and even international coins dating back to british rule but that is a hobby NOT an achievement as such. I guess its just something to add value to your life than to your resume unless you want to become an archaeologist or something.

And umm I think that the colleges that I sent to you in the message would be great for you. They do have solid programs as well and give aid.

Thank you.Is there any way raise my stats?

I really hope you are basing your expectations for a 2300 on solid practice and not just “I’ll do this”.

S I am working on my sat everyday. It is very important to me.

The indirect question was, are you getting 2250+ on your practice tests?

I haven’t taken one yet. But I am determined to do it.

Please tell me,my chances on getting into
Caltech
UMichigan Ann Arbor
Georgia Tech
UC Berkeley

Caltech - high reach
U mich Ann Arbor - low reach
Georgia tech - match
UC Berkeley - high match

But it really depends on your SAT scores etc.

Don’t get me wrong but your basing the SAT scores on SAT scores is quite unrealistic considering your use of grammar in the previous posts. For matches you can try UCLA, UCB, Georgia Tech. For more reaches try applying to UPenn & Stanford, these two universities might be a little bit easier to get in than getting in for MIT or CalTech. Sorry if I am pessimistic but that is the reality, SAT CR & W are not your high school math tests where determination can get you through. I’m a fellow Indian student as well. :)

Thank you.I’ll do my best to reach my goal. Can you tell me reference books that I can use to prepare SAT.

@Bounty123, great advice given. it will be great if you will chance me at:
Chance me for Caltech, MIT, and all the Ivy Leagues!

Please…
Thank You

If you want to do Astrophysics , Then ,University of California ,Berkeley will be a great choice.

I agree. Your school record seems sound and you have good EC’s but never underestimate the CR and W section of the SAT.

I’ve been an ace literature/English student through high school but I had to work towards getting a 750+ at least for CR.

Same goes with the essay: you NEED to be extremely careful about grammatical errors and sentence structure.

If you’re confident about those things, then I think you may just be good to go as long as you have good recommendations/essays to support your application. Good luck!

Can anyone tell me good sat books for, preparing?

Barrons and College Board. :)
