Chance Me: Linden Hall, Grier School, Chatham Hall

I'm going into 9th grade next year, im currently in 8th

Grades:
I got overall 4.0 GPA but throughout the year I had a few B's.
I'm in a Humanities and Communications program with 100 other students from my county. I'm in a public middle school in one of the biggest counties in the country.

Extracurricular:
Horseback Riding for 4 years (they have a big HBR program at all these schools)
Softball for 6 years (I'm captain of the softball team at my school)
Soccer for 7 years
Basketball for 2 years
Photography (they are big on this one, too)
Student Government (im Vice President at my school)
I volunteer at the YMCA
I work 6 hours a week at my stable
Yearbook Club

I love to learn and do well in school. I plan to continue as many of these activities as I can, especially community service. I love to help people. I also love to write and plan to work on the school newspaper. I haven't taken the SSAT's yet but am studying really hard for them and generally test well. I interview well, too. I'm adopted. I am 3/4 white and 1/4 black but you can't see this part at all, I'm blond haired and blue eyed.

How are my chances at Linden Hall in PA, Grier School in PA, and Chatham Hall in VA? What can I do to raise my chances? What do schools look for on applications?

i think you have a great chance.
you have really great ECs (especially in sports)
and not only that, you do very well in school.
AND your volunteering is going to be useful.
do well on SSATs! thats important.
other than that, i think you’re well rounded and i think you have really great shot at it!
good luck!

you are really dedicated to your ECs and the schools are going to like that.

I go to Grier and you will definitely get in there, they accept pretty much anyone. But if I were you, I would try for Chatlam or Linden Hall.

If you know more about Linden Hall, will you please share? I’m looking for more input. Thanks!
