Chance me, my friends.

Hello,

I am planning to go to UF. I am OOS, obviously, and would like to go to community college first until I am considered in-state, but would like to be accepted first. (My counselor told me that this is possible).

I am a junior with a 3.0 unweighted GPA. Weighted it is only a 3.4 or so.
The reason it is so low is that I went to a college prep school for my first two years of highschool, taking advanced classes only. Our level of rigidity was AP in all classes that were advanced (hence, mine), but we did not receive AP credits, because it was not "officially" AP, nor did we receive the extra GPA boost.

My grades this year have already boosted my GPA by quite a bit, and next year I can easily get an overall 4.0 with AP courses, putting my 4 year GPA into the 3.7 weighted range.

I do extremely well on standardized tests and scored better than 90% of the nation on my PSAT (without studying a single bit...I was sick for a week and the day I showed up again was PSAT day, unbeknownst to me).

I have taken practice tests online of the SAT subject tests and have scored 800s CONSISTENTLY on both German tests.

My extra curricular activities are really just limited to kickboxing and Taekwondo. However, I'm running the school martial arts club (feels good to be a president). If music counts, I play classical guitar.

If I think of more, I'll add it in an edit.

EDIT: I have about 200 hours of community service

I scored in the 98th and 99th percentile in the National German Exam.
