Hello I'm a high school Junior looking at:
Columbia, Cornell, UPenn, NYU, University of Chicago, and Northeastern

GPA: 4.0/4.0, I think it's a 4.55, but is actually technically higher because I dropped my lunch for extra courses, so it is more around a 4.7. I've been Principal's list (Straight A's) my entire time in high school.

Class rank: 1/350-400 students

Class difficulty: All honors froshmore years, 3 APs this year and 2 honors classes, plan on taking 5 APs next year (My school has rules about year requirements and AP courses)

SAT's: Have not taken them yet, I plan on March. My goal is 2200. My PSAT was a 203.

Summer 2010: Spent at Cornell Summer College, got A's in all of my courses (4.0/4.0 GPA)

Summer 2011: Applying to the NJ Governor's School in the Sciences

EC's: I won't list them all (I am a member of quite a few things) but I'll list the important ones:
Senior Company Dance Member (9 hours+ a week)
Theater (Depending on show 5-10 hours+ a week)
Fencing (6 hours a week)
Chorus, including All South Jersey chorus
Band, bassoon

Leadership: I am going to run for secretary of NHS (I'm not popular enough for president), but I am a fencing captain at the local place I fence at

Community: Also a long list, but my biggest is that I personally organized and collected cans in April for a local shelter, I collected hundreds of cans to donate.

This is only a basic outline, but from what you have read, do you think my chances are good for any of the schools I have listed? Thanks for reading! :]
