Chance me on West Point/Citadel

I'm currently a junior:

I have a 3.85 cumulative GPA for my career, Im taking the ACT in Aril and I've been studying hard, so I expect a good score on that. I'm in the top 20% of my class of 250.

I played football for 2 years, basketball for 1 year, lettered variety in Tennis, and I'm also a member of my school's Muay Thai club.

I was recently elected our school's NHS Secretary, I have a lot of community service, and over 85 internship hours at my local fire department.

What are my chances of acceptance at USMA or The Citadel? Any advice would be great!

USMA: Aim for 30+ (do you have any leadership other than NHS secretary? Also, write your essays not so much about why you want to attend West Point but on why you want to be an Army officer)
Citadel: Aim for 24+/1700+

I would say without any true leadership positions, (of importance that is) your chances of getting into West Point are extremely slim/ little to none. For a long time I wanted to attend West Point but my mom completely rejected the whole idea of it, (she doesn’t want me to die like any mom wouldn’t).

Recently I have received several invitations to apply to West Point as a result of my grades, and leadership positions that I have held throughout high school. Unlike most schools, West Point is concerned with “well-roundedness” rather than strengths and weaknesses across the board if that makes sense.

Overall, I would make sure that you truly want to put the time and effort into the application process for West Point and [if so] start to prepare for next year’s deadline.
