Your ECs are solid, your GPS is, well, perfect, but your SATs are a little low. I’d say that Stanford, Chicago, Yale, and Columbia are reaches, Penn is a low reach, and JHU is a match/high match. Best of luck! Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1586584-chance-me-some-schools.html

I personally think your SAT 1 is good enough. Ivy leagues especially the top tier ones get so many 2400 and still reject them. So your 2270 is still good for them, but it all depends on your essays and ECs.

Your SAT 2 are alright averaged, but some are kinda low (seeing that there is a curve on every subject test)

Your ECs are very good yet very typical (an Asian playing the piano? Seen it all the time).

You want to stand out and that’s where the essays come in. Write about your passion in bio, your summer activities in bio, etc. do not write about your piano unless specifically asked for: you have already sent art supplements and filled your app with it so don’t be repetitive, especially if you don’t want to major in music.

Columbia, Yale, Stanford are all reaches to mostly everyone.
Uchicago and Johns Hopkins are reaches
Upenn is a low reach if you want to do bio, but not for Wharton

Thank you guys so much, tommynine9 and Muhammad9211. I really appreciate your quick responses! Also, Joesm112, thanks so much for the additional, valuable advice!

Clarification about your SATs - I just meant that they wouldn’t be necessarily be a positive, but they certainly will not hurt your chances.

I’ve also applied to Stanford REA, can you guys chance me?

My essay is going to be about being bisexual in a conservative country like India shaped me.
Extra Curricular: Started a business that manufactures macaroons to generate funds for educating underprivileged children. Generated over 2000$. Have my own website and the company has grown a lot.
Internship at Surgical Practice, observed 8 bypass procedures.
Dancing for over 8 years. Senior company member and performed in many of the company shows.
Selected for a special program in my school that trains very few students in interpersonal skills to help peers in relationship and personal problems, kind of like a therapist. So I got an amazing letter of reco from my school’s therapist.
Editor and designer of the schools newsletter.
Went to a rural village in India for a project to uplift the village. Organised a medical camp, a fair etc
Teacher recos: really good, but I doubt they’re amazing (can’t say)
Counsellor reco: Has to be amazing, she put in a lot of effort for it and knows me very well.

@tastydoge
so I’m guessing you’re an international applicant from India? Your SATs are good, SAT II are very good in bio, I don’t know about math though. You have a very good rank (although I don’t know how your school does it, how many people, and it’s competitiveness).

But I think what makes you stand out is your ECs definitely.

Tastydoge, create a new thread, I think your chances are great and you have unusual ECs

OP, your subject scores are low and your ECs are average, APs are ok, I say Stanford is a high reach
