Also, I'm getting a rec from a director of a top university in Thailand to SPS.

Honestly, what are my chances?
Do you think that 83% SSAT will weigh me down? (English is my second language)

Cranbrook, you can basically be assured you’ll get in. As for the other schools, you have a chance, but I’m not quite sure how much of a chance compared to THIS year’s applicant pool… Good Luck!!!

I’m not gonna lie. An eighty three will weigh you down (they expect eighty five to ninety five) but you’re other stuff is extremely good so that might compensate for it. You have a chance!

It may be too late to comment but from my experience, Choate should be o.k. Cranbrook is very good school but may not popular as MA,CT area. If compare with Thai student. You look better. My newphew got SSAT 82% and grade and other activities are not perfect like you. She got Lawrenville,NJ.

To Be Honest, I think everything you’ve listed about yourself isn’t bad but it isn’t good either. I’m sorry to inform you, but honestly you’re not Cranbrook material.
Have a good day, you 83% SSAT LOSER.
