Harro thar!
Sorry for the adding to the "chance me" spam, but I'm really freaking out..;; OTL;

I've been hearing many different things about the typical admission stats for NYU, and while I did my research and went through the stats of previously accepted people, I'm still pretty unsure of my chances of getting in, especially with Stern. I have an okay SAT score but a really low unweighted GPA, resulting from a bad freshman year. Nervous. So please, humor me <3

I feel confident in my writing abilities, so essay isn't a big deal either. The short answers were slightly difficult, but only because of the allotted length. Idk, they're subjective anyway. Here's a snippet. (Short answer #2)

"A global network university resonates of boundless opportunity for a myriad of futures in friendship, business, and academia, closing the rift of cultural ignorance and absolving the invisible walls which insulate man from man. Such an expansion in education banishes false preconceptions, replacing them with an open mental foundation. In a world where the interdependence between countries requires a broad spectrum of perspective, there is no better place than NYU to begin building bridges."

I'm asian american, I can speak Chinese, Japanese, and learned Russian in Governor's school. I applied to Stern for International Business.

Income < 60k

My friend told me that GPA really mattered in admissions, so I'm feeling super uneasy.
I submitted the app a week ago, RD, but I'm apprehensive. I ask the nice people on CC to give me their honest opinion of what my chances would be.

Also, I hear everywhere that the FA in NYU is rather terrible in relation to the FA at other schools. Can someone give me an estimate of how much FA I might recieve?

I know this is alot to read, I really appreciate the help!

Thank you very very much for bearing with me! ^____^ <3
