<p>I'm applying for 11th grade, planning to board (I'm from the northwest) will need financial aid and if possible merit scholarships.</p>
<p>Academics:
4.0 GPA, grades pretty much all mid 90's, some A+'s and A-'s. </p>
<p>PSAT:
critical reading- 61/80, 94 percentile
math-59/80, 89 percentile
writing- 69/80, 99 percentile
(I only have the online report, so no overall percentile/scores)</p>
<p>Extracurriculars
Clubs:
French Club- 2 years, President 1 year
DECA (business) club- 1 year</p>
<p>Community Service:
Peer Tutor (English)- 1 year
Teen Docent at museum- 2 years, mentor this year
Teen Art Council also at museum- 2 years</p>

Flute- 4 years, weekly private lessons, flute orchestra 1 year
Tennis- 2 years, independent tennis team

moved to the states from international schools in Hong Kong and Taiwan, fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. </p>
<p>Writing used to be pretty strong, very bad english program at current school, lack of practice, writing skills really rusted. </p>
<p>Most likely average (if not weak) recommendations. Not much of a relationship with counselor and math and english teachers. </p>
